Dear colleagues!

St Petersburg State University invites you on 13-14th of April 2017 to participate in the international science forum «Media in the modern world. 56th St Petersburg readings».

The Forum «Media in the modern world. St Petersburg readings» combines a series of science and Training Resource events. They represent: opportunities for organizing joint international Inter-University interdisciplinary studies; an experience to exchange the scope of study of journalism and mass communication; the consolidation of international academic society; and the possibility to increase the fame of Russian scientists abroad.

There are various types of participation in the conference:

Participant with the publication of theses – Аrrangement fee 1000 rubles. Reference to payment and electronic registration must be sent to the head or secretary of the event after the theses has been accepted for publication.

Speaker – The head of the event invites speakers on the basis of submitted abstracts.

Participant without publication – without registration fee. Register in electronic form.

Abstracts, in accordance with the format requirements (see. Annex) are accepted by e-mail at the addresses of managers or secretaries measures up to February 1, 2017

Publications

The authors of the theses approved by the heads of the activities, will be sent a link to pay the fee. Materials are sent to the editor responsible for placing the events on the Forum page. Placement of abstracts is carried out before the end of registration – before February 1, 2017

At the end of the registration period a printed collection is available - a special edition of a serial "Information age":

The materials have the status of scientific articles. Collection in PDF format is available on the Forum page and in RSCI-based.

Everyone is welcome at the forum, regardless of publication. Payment of travel, accommodation and subsistence is at the expense of the sending party.

Application. Requirements for abstracts

Theses are accepted when they correspond to the scope of actions and are executed according to the format requirements. The decision on the acceptance of theses for publication is made by the head of the event.

The abstract of theses in Russian or English language up to 4,000 characters with spaces, not including "cap" (metadata in the Russian and English languages) is to be typed in MS Word program (MS Office 2007–2010). Without tables and schemes, without font allocations, without the section "Literature", bibliographic references (if needed) are given in the text in parentheses.

Page setup: all fields 2 cm; paragraph space 1,25 cm; line spacing 1,5 cm; interval before line and after – 0 points. Alignment justified. The heading complex is aligned to the left. Without transfers. Without numbering of pages. Times New Roman font, size 14.

The structure of theses includes 3 blocks.

Block 1 and Block 2 (metadata in two languages – Russian and English) follow one after another to the text of theses:

Name, patronymic, surname of the author (authors) – italics.

The name of establishment in which work is performed

The name of article – bold, lower case.

Abstract (up to 250 characters with spaces).

Keywords (3–5).

Block 3:

The abstract of theses in Russian or English (up to 4,000 characters with spaces).
