Welcome to the 12-th international conference "Mass media in the modern world.Young researchers”, which will be held in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, at Saint-Petersburg State University, on March 11-13, 2013.
Being the oldest scientific and educational institution in Russia, Saint-Petersburg State University is traditionally open for young researchers. The conference is aimed at discussing urgent problems of journalism, its historical traditions and contemporary tendencies in mediasphere. This year the conference – for the first time – will include:
1. the final round of the scientific contest, where students,undergraduates and postgraduate students of the School of Journalism and Mass Communications will present their works and research papers;
2. “StuDDesign” multimedia show;
3. master-class organized by the press service of “Pulkovo” airport;
4. two circular tablesdedicated to creation and development of scientific journals for students and educational newspapers.
The Conference is being organized together with the faculty of journalism of Moscow State University.
